Premise: Eiji has just transferred to a new school, what is told be an undergraduate college to prepare for University. In all likelihood, this was probably a high school that got changed in translation to make the characters of age. Anyhow, Eiji doesn’t have any friends except the exuberant Rumi, the class president, and the prickly and well endowed Shizuko. He decides to find a club to join after school to make friends where he stumbles upon Rumi’s “Health Club” which is really a sex club. The other members include her step-brother, the effeminate Masayoshi with a onee-san complex, and the loli-looking Natsuki who is deeply devoted to Rumi. Eiji gets wrangled into the club and helps facilitate blackmailing his crush, Shizuko, in as well.
A lot of the content outside of the sex scenes, which there are quite a few, is pretty mundane. I went into the game expecting cat girls, but only Rumi is even cat like, often wearing an eared hat. None are actually cat girls though. The game also plays with some more eccentric interests. Masayoshi is set up as the other male, but is extremely ‘effeminate” and is often depicted as having low libido and a very small, err, member. This is likely to keep male gamers from feeling ‘threatened’ by him. Thus, he’s stripped of any real masculine sexuality.
Rumi, on the other hand, is the sexual dynamo and mastermind behind a lot of the sexual scenarios. She also is inter-sexed with both a functional (if not again very small) penis and vagina. This is outside the realm of typical erogames I’ve played. Also, quite unbelievably, Eiji takes no real notice and has no issues putting out for Rumi. Wouldn’t most men, I don’t know, have reservations about sleeping with a girl with a penis?
Shizuko is the stereotypical shy girl. She’s academically intelligent and shy to admit her sexual desires. It’s a common troupe that leads to a lot “no-means-it-feels-good” situations. She’s large chested but otherwise extremely boring but fills in the obligatory stereotype.
Natsuki is the quiet, weird loli. This also a pretty common h-game role. She’s mean and only has eyes for Rumi who fulfills their dom-sub relationship. Further into the game Natsuki opens up some by saying really weird things in social situations. She has pigtails, of course.
There isn’t a lot of character development or even personality. If you’re looking for one of the games where mushy feelings are introduced and careful choices have to be made, forget it. There are very few path decisions in this game and most of it consists of arbitrary conversation followed by choosing who to have sex with. While Eiji likes Shizuko, it doesn’t bother him much to get it up for someone else instead. The game’s premise is even pretty ridiculous, a sex club in the nurses office that no one has discovered? Even though Rumi and Masayoshi’s parents have the house empty because they’re away on business?
I’ve played some of the Sekilala games before, mostly Come See Me Tonight which I recall being a little better than this. There was a bit more romance, even if it was contrived, but still a lot of the stereotype fulfillment.
